α-d-glucuronate 1-phosphate is also known as α-D-glucuronic acid 1-phosphoric acid. α-d-glucuronate 1-phosphate is soluble (in water) and a moderately acidic compound (based on its pKa). α-d-glucuronate 1-phosphate can be found in a number of food items such as lingonberry, tronchuda cabbage, eggplant, and medlar, which makes α-d-glucuronate 1-phosphate a potential biomarker for the consumption of these food products.
