Constituent of various plants including Lycopersicon esculentum (tomato), Medicago sativa (alfalfa) and Melilotus albus (white melilot). N-Malonyltryptophan is found in many foods, some of which are herbs and spices, garden tomato, pulses, and opium poppy.
