Primary myotubes were derived from mouse models of malignant hyperthermia susceptibility (MHS). Myotubes derived from homozygous mice (embryonic lethal) were the most sensitive to caffeine induced calcium release, followed by myotubes derived from heterozygote mice, and then wild-type mice.
