The level of circulating TNFalpha bioactivity was higher in patients with the AA or AG genotype as compared to those with the GG genotype. The authors also note that TNFalpha bioactivity was higher in patients who had good American College of Rheumatology (ACR) response to infliximab (>= 50% improvement), as compared to those with a poor response (<=20% improvement).
