The association was with diastolic blood pressure response. It did not reach genome-wide significance when only PEAR + GERA were analyzed, but this SNP was selected for replication in NORDIL and this association was significant. Observations: 4.46 mm Hg decreased reduction of diastolic blood pressure per T allele in PEAR + GERA, 3.30 mm Hg decreased reduction of diastolic blood pressure per T allele in NORDIL, and 4.17 mm Hg decreased reduction of diastolic blood pressure per T allele in PEAR + GERA + NORDIL.
