At six months after beginning treatment, a significant association between rs33980500 and decreased response to TNF inhibitors (i.e. etanercapt and adalimumab) in terms of the number of patients in remission (p=0.02, OR=0.09, C.I.=0.01-0.70) or with low disease activity (p=0.013, OR=0.1, C.I.=0.02-0.87) was seen across the whole cohort, but was not seen at two years after beginning treatment and could not be replicated in the subgroups for each individual drug.
