Clinical data about adverse events were collected from patient records and laboratory charts for 12 weeks after the initiation of therapy. Delays or reductions in the administration of 5'FU or capecitabine due to adverse events were recorded as primary outcomes, and grade 3,4,5 adverse events were analyzed as secondary outcomes. "Dose" here refers to dose modification. Note: the reported parameters for this SNP are really for a haplotype (the authors refer to it as a "signature") that includes any minor alleles for the following SNPs: rs3918290 (T), rs67376798 (A), rs75017182(C), rs56038477 (T).
