*3C/*3C (CC) compared to *1A/*1A+*1A/*3C (TT+CT). Percentage change in triglycerides, LDL-C, and HDL-C was significantly lower in patients with the CC genotype. However only in patients of non-African descent - this association was not seen in those of African descent.
