Patients with two copies of the CYP3A4*1 allele may have increased clearance of oxycodone as compared to patients carrying the *2, *3, *4, *5, *6, *7, *8, *9, *10, *11, *12, *13, *14, *15, *16, *17, *18, *19, *20, *21, *22, *23, *24, *26, *28, *29, *30, *31, *32, *33 or *34 alleles. This annotation only covers the pharmacokinetic relationship between CYP3A4 and oxycodone and does not include evidence about clinical outcomes. Other genetic and clinical factors may also influence oxycodone clearance.
