Patients with the rs2032582 AC genotype may have increased dose requirements of sufentanil as compared to patients with the CC genotype but decreased dose requirements as compared to patients with the AA genotype. However, conflicting evidence has been reported. Other genetic and clinical factors may also affect dose requirements of sufentanil.
